INGLIS

INGLIS is a company dedicated to help those with assistance to increase independence, social engagement, and life management skills through technology solutions. INGLIS, a client of AB&C, was expanding to the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area and needed marketing assistance to let locals of the area know. The goal of AB&C was to bring awareness and announce the grand opening of the INGLIS Pittsburgh location in Allegheny County.

The Primary target audience was individuals with disabilities or seniors who are CHC participants and approved for assistive technology devices and/or services, living with a 7-county region encompassing the city of Pittsburgh and southwestern Pennsylvania. The Secondary target audience were caregivers and family members living with clients, organizations and payors, and community leaders and industry partners. The client was looking for PR/media relations, organic social media and paid media, which included terrestrial radio, SEM, Facebook, and Instagram.

The approach I took was making sure the primary and secondary audiences understood that INGLIS was a company dedicated to helping them. Individuals who are at a physical disadvantage are often told they need to adapt their ways to fit society, not society adjusting things to fit the needs of everyone not just those physically able. This can lead them to feeling isolated and like nothing is meant just for them.

With this is mind, the slogan became β€œFor Me. For Pittsburgh.” This lets the primary and secondary audience know INGLIS intentions as well as announce the new location in Pittsburgh.
