JMU IN LA
In the spring of my senior year at JMU, I worked as an intern for Dr. Talé Mitchell as the Social Media Manager for the JMU in LA program. My challenge was to create content that had an overall cohesive theme that spoke to the desired audience and represented the brand as a whole.
From research, to social media strategy, to the competition & audience analyses, logo redesign, grid layout, and so much more, I learned so much about what goes into social media marketing. The flipbook below is my entire analysis and research and takes you through the process of creating the new and improved JMU in LA brand.
JMU in LA, is an ongoing program that runs every summer. I wanted to make sure that the client had access to branding materials after we parted ways so they could continue to grow the brand. Therefore, I created a brand guide the client and future social media managers could reference. In addition to this guide, I provided the client with editable post templates they could access and update for the years to come.
